Started around 730am and there were already A LOT of cars but we found parking a couple block down. We decided to veer off the main trail to scramble up the first section of Bastards Ridge to Jones Peak. It was very steep, overgrown and washed out but it was easy enough to navigate. Once we got to Jones Peak we followed the trail back to the main route and continued to the top. The last couple miles had some snow but nothing my non waterproof Moabs couldn’t handle. It was pretty cold at the top. Bringing a warm/dry layer is recommended. Overall took about 8.5 hours moving time.
