Beautiful scenery and shaded for majority of hike. We started at 7am. Not too crowded considering Chantry Flats trail is still closed since Bobcat Fires. Bees half-way near ruins of Orchard Camp. Bugs were annoying in certain spots as we climbed. I used bug net on climb up. Didn’t need bug net as much in afternoon descending.  Weather conditions started out cool and overcast. Sun eventually made its presence but not too bad. Very windy at Manzanita Ridge where bench is. Challenging hike but with proper hydration and nutrition, it was absolutely doable. Loved this hike!
