We hiked to potato chip rock once previously but were excited to do it again for the 6-peaks challenge. Weather was perfect, cool and breezy. The trail is notoriously busy on weekends when folks want to get the epic shot on the rock so we thought going on a Wednesday would free up space a bit. Nope! Trail was crowded (likely due to the holiday) but people were being respectful to give space and mostly everyone were wearing masks. The trail up is a very well maintained STAIRMASTER, so prepare yourself! We logged about 7.5 miles in 3 hours which included a few photo ops and walking pretty fast downhill. Overall, a fun time being able to experience the amazing Southern Californian weather in the fall!
