3 miles and nearly 2700’ elevation gain to the peak. Turn the hike into a 13.2 mile, 4600’ elevation gain route by adding on Mt. Lawlor. Fun scrambling to get up Strawberry, good hand/ foot holds the whole way. Colby Canyon trail had good shade most of the way and still frosty at 11:30 am. A few downed trees to navigate, plenty of Spanish Bayonet as well.
