Half as sleep getting into the trail head but slamming my coupe on rocky road heading to the parking lot sure woke me up. It was national trail day this day I pick this trail. Took my time getting up just looking for things to be fix or trash to be pick up. This trail is pretty well manage. I did took a wrong turn and keep heading right instead of looking for the limber pine trail sign. Met a guy who was back packing with a group of his friend taking this route heading for San Gorgonio. Took my first real break on the stone beach area. Met mr suun who took my picture with the San Bernardino sign. He shared his hiking stories including him taking the mountaineering route to mount Whitney. Which is in top of my list.
