Started at Evergreen Trail that meandering 4.43 miles to the top of Pine Marten lift. On the way up I went via Summit Crossover and Summit East to the Summit. The Summit stretch was hot and dusty with some flowers popping up here and there. Took the new West Ridge trail down which was well maintained but consisted of mostly lava rock. Stopped for a beer and pizza on the way down at Scapolos Cafe there near the lift. Pretty convenient to have a stop along the trail with clean restrooms and hot food as well as snacks and cold beverages.
