Peak #2 of the Challenge…Joined Hike Beyond the Hills hiking group and had a great time on this hike, that I thought would be more difficult than it was.   I was pleasantly surprised and proud of myself that I did it!   The weather called for a HEAT ADVISORY that week due to high temps but on the day of, it was perfect!  And we completed it before the heat really got going.  The summit was amazing with a great view!  Enjoyed our lunch and chatted with new friends from the group!  Also met up with another group I know well, The Azusa Pacers.    I particularly liked this hike as I felt peaceful surrounded by nature and all the huge trees provided shade along the switchbacks.. definitely doing this one again 🙂
