Trail snow-covered at times – Gear and expertise recommended

Started the hike at 7am. 35 degree weather, dry all the way up until a mile or so before the Sierra club ski hut. You started to see snow. Snow all the way up to the summit from there was fully white, fresh snow! Crampons needed. Sun was perfect for the right amount of warmth during the top half of hike. Intense winds at the top, too windy to stay up more than a couple minutes
