Began our hike at 8am walking from the parking lot to the Baldy Bowl trail head. Once we got to the trailhead, myself and the 4 others I was with made our way up to the ski hut. On our way up we stopped a couple times for water as the trail was very steep. We stopped at the ski hut for about 20-30 minutes to catch our breath and eat some snacks. Once the group was ready, we made our way up to the bowl and eventually Mt. Baldy. For the most part the trail consisted of dirt trails and loose rock. There was snow prior to the bowl and quite a bit once at the bowl. It was no issue getting through as we greeted many people at the top. Be sure to take your time on the way down as it is very easy to slip and fall. I fell once but it wasn’t anything serious. Overall my hiking group and I had a great time and I would definitely come back again!
