Finally conquered famous Mt. Baldy. Weather was great, glad I brought layers. Cold at bottom and top, but delayered from Ski Hut until last leg until the summit. As others have said, no ice to worry about, some patches of snow at the top. Lots of people out on the trail the weekend but everyone in good spirits and very friendly. Too bad for the overcast/hazy day though took away from some great shots along the way. The Diablo Burger at the Notch restaurant and a Thor's Hammer IPA hit the spot (did loop clockwise) before the last trip down to the cars.
This was definitely a challenging hike compared to others I have done, just with the amount of switchbacks and how quick the elevation gain was.
