The drive up with sketchy because it was sprinkling and very foggy, my partner and I weren’t sure how to trail was going to be or if we would even be able to hike it. Once we got to the trailhead the slight rain was non existent and the sun was peaking out. As we started to hike we just started climbing higher and higher above the clouds. It did have some sketchy parts where there were little land slides but nothing that isn’t doable. By the time we got to the top it was such a clear beautiful day and you could see all the clouds that were causing a gloomy day down below. Overall it was such perfect weather for a hike and I’m so glad we made it. It was our second time up baldy and we cut our average mile down by about 6.5 minutes.
