A difficult hike, I went up the the Baldy Bowl Trail for a challenge and a challenge I got! I started around at 10am and used All trails as a guide. Nice and warm at the bottom and 20 degrees cooler at the top. Once the sunset the wind kicked in hard through your the summit. So hard it was pushing my trekking poles side ways. Fortunately I’m a little heavy. I managed to rescue 2 hikers that were hurt with out a light, direction, and assisted them down. The views were unbelievable, the photographs I took are truly something else. Fortunately for me I came down the Devils Backbone in the dark with a flashlight, so I avoided looking down the steep summit. Lots of rock’s and very easy to slip. Trekking poles are a must and lots of water.
