Got there around 5:30am and the Manker Flat lot was not full. Great hike up the Ski Hut route. AllTrails mileage is off, it’s about 4.75 miles to the peak, no way near 3.6. Lots of people, not many masks, but it was pretty windy so I doubt anyone would have been able to catch anything anyway. Top was almost like a party – lots of people but very windy and cold. There were many people on the trail on the way down, a decent amount on the way up. Good hike! The views were spectacular. Went down the backbone route and capped the day off with a beer at the lodge “bar” – which was awesome! First time back in a bar (or close to one) in months. Unfortunately our knees were toast so we had to take the lift down to parking, which was fun too.
