Hiking Partner, Lisa T, and I started at 6:30am. Easy drive in and lots of parking during early am and on weekday. Beautiful clear morning. Temperature in the 70s then rising to 80s and 90s on way down. NO WIND at the summit and beautiful clear day with fluffy white clouds in the distance approaching from the Mojave. IT WAS A PERFECT DAY! Seemed like most hikers we encountered were training for Mt Whitney the following week and one hiker training for Cactus Desert Hike. Took our time (total 8 hours w stops and lunch at top). We came down via the Baldy Bowl/Ski Hut Trail.
