We arrived at 7AM and there were a lot of cars parked at the TH. Probably more people riding the chair lift than hiking to the peak. Trail conditions were excellent and the temperatures stayed moderate. We chose the CCW route and it did not disappoint. The views on the mountain were exceptional. The accent wasn't too bad with the hardest part on the ski run and the last mile or so to the peak. There were probably 50 people at the top when we arrive after 2 hrs and 55 minutes.
The hike down the Baldy Bowl trail was very nice. The trail was in excellent shape. There was water flowing near the ski hut on the way down and the waterfall was running towards the bottom of the trail. We finished the loop in 4 hours and 30 minutes which beat our goal by a half hour. Overall this was hike I would do again.
