This was my first peak to the highest Mountain in LA County, Mt San Antonio aka Mt Baldy. This was a strenuous hike starting from Manker Flats to The Notch, along Devil’s Backbone to the Summit. I was the only female that made it to the summit on the trail that day and it was a very emotional moment. I made a special note to my parents who has passed years ago as well as to my husband l.. I did it!! I received a hug from a total stranger who was slightly ahead of me on the trail.. complimenting me on my achievement. A very special moment in time for me.
