Unusually chilly day with highs at 41F! Lovely hike with lush green mountains. Spring colors were just starting to show. Not too windy at the summit either. Decent visibility, though not good enough to see Sierras.
No problem with finding the parking, since we started quite early in the morning. However, we needed to deposit $10 in cash for parking since no attendant was available early in the morning.
