A wonderful road trip with my husband & friends; one coming from Dallas,TX, one from Temecula, CA & us from San Diego.

The drive on Diablo Rd going up to the trailhead was absolutely a fun one- winding road with stunning views of greeneries, hills & beautiful houses. Quite a few bike riders on the mountain & we were in awe of their smooth ride (well, they made it look so cool & easy!!).
Clear blue skies with no clouds. It warmed up pretty quickly. Enjoyed the panoramic views especially on the Observation Deck. The ice cream bar sold in the museum shop definitely was a treat.
