I really enjoyed the hike, it was glorious weather and perfect hiking conditions. However, I was surprised by the following: Lack of clear trail markers as you ascended the trail, sandy, steep switchbacks which were somewhat slippery, and the constant presence of exposed, upright rebar spikes that were easy to be tripped up on if you were not careful.
