3rd 6pack peak in as many days, and this was our biggest yet! The length and gain aren't what made this challenging, as out in California we are used to higher altitudes, big gains, and long hikes. The humidity however made the usual sweating not as effective as in our drier mtns. The tree cover over nearly all the trail however did keep the temps down in relation to the short exposed areas. There were tons of people at the top that had driven up, but we enjoyed the summit tower, the museum, gift shop, and the ice cream and red bull from the concessionaire. After those energizing snacks, it was down-down-down back to the car. ~3700 ft of gain registered on my Garmin!
