We started on the trail at about 8am. We got a little lost once we got into Frazier Park, so this set us back about 45 minutes. But, the weather was great up until about the last 40 minutes of our hike! The peak wasn't super climatic, and we actually missed the right turn needed to reach and went about 15 minutes up towards Guasse Peak by mistake. But, we turned around, and conquered the peak, and the views were beautiful! The trail was very busy! It was great to see people out and things opening up again after a hard 1.5 years of Covid.
I really enjoyed this hike because it was moderate difficulty and very green. I was surprised how green it was considering we are in a big drought year.
