Although it was a sunny day in St. Helena, the trail became more cloudy and cold as I ascended the mountain. The trail gradually became covered in snow, and looked more like a cross country trail thea hiking one. In any event. I reached the summit, and enjoyed the views into the Sierras from there. After my snack in 30's temps I headed back down, happy to reach the sunshine again at about halfway. It was a beautiful hike, not hard, and I would do it again in the same weather conditions.
