After not hiking for a few months, I decided to get back on the saddle and knock off peak #5 from the list. This was by far then biggest trek just to get to as I had a 2.5 hour drive from the South Bay. It was a cool crisp morning, started off with a jacket, which was quickly removed as the ascent to the peak started. The first 3/4 mile or so is very beautiful, covered, but also has quite a bit of rock scrambling to do. Once you get to the main road its pretty smooth sailing until about the last 1/4 mile before the peak which is quite steep. Once at the peak the views were amazing. If I lived closed, I would totally do this hike again.
