Finding the trailhead was a bit of an adventure as Google maps took each of our three individual cars to a private residence up into the hills of Mill valley paved with narrow pathways barely enough for a car to pass through. We all shared co-ordinates and were finally able to meet to begin our hike!! Thank God for technology and GPS!!
The trail began quite benign on wide fire roads but we were adventurous and wanted to experience some of the narrower bushwhacking trails that were way steeper. It turned out to be quite a challenge and also a lot of fun! At times we were on all fours 🙂 but would not change the route even on hindsight.
A very very fun hike with gorgeous views of the bay and bridges and San Francisco.
