Mt Tam is so beautiful. We stayed at Bootjack Campground so we could be o the trail early. We chose to hike down to Stinson Beach first and then make our way all the way up to the peak. It was a cloudy day and nice to see mushrooms on this trail this time of year. There is a variety of scenery and its all so beautiful. Hiking along the creek was nice. I did part of this hike the week before and took the Hoo Koo E Koo trail and it was pretty tough. It was a cloudy day so that made it a lot easier. Its always great to stop in West Point Inn to have a snack and rest. When its sunny, hummingbirds surround the feeders on the deck too.
The campgrounds filled up pretty fast so I had to leave earlier to get a spot. The Pan Toll Campground has some great campsites.
