We started from the Rock Spring trailhead parking lot and hiked down the Cataract Trail all the way to Alpine Lake.  Beautiful waterfalls all along the Cataract Trail (especially after all the rains here in the bay area).  We then hiked back up the Cataract trail and then to the Mt. Tamalpais East summit (via Laurel Dell, North side, and International trails).  A beautiful day for the hike, with some phenomenal views of the SFO city.
