Weather was good. Mostly wooded so comfortable. I made the mistake of carrying a flask with coffee most of the way up.  Trail was nice.  Very steep and exposed at end. I was dying and sweating up a storm. Beautiful cloud coverage for my first summit ever. Way down took the path with exposed burned trees. Truly sad to see that. On the down we hit a road that had fallen rocks all over.  We passed a campground with locked outhouses and got to see a momma bear and her cubs. The walk back up to our car nearly killed me.  The group I was with waited for me to finally make it to the top so that we could take a final pic together. One at the start, one at the summit, and one at the end.
