This was the first peak that I have completed in the challenge. I decided to do this challenge because I will be hiking Mt. Whitney in June and thought that this would be great training. I came into this hike pretty confident, but then I realized I was not as prepared as I thought I was. This hike was definitely challenging, but it was a beautiful hike. The one thing about this hike was that it just felt long. I was amazed at how much I had hiked up when I was hiking back down. Overall, this was a great hike and I'm ready for the next one!
