We started at 7:30am and the weather was great for the hike. I like Mt. Wilson because 90% of its trail is in the shade.
We stopped at Cosmic Cafe for lunch (jumbo dogs are so satisfying!) Coming back, we took another trail (sorry, forgot the name) that starts across from the Cafe's parking lot. We saw the aftermath of the fire which was painful to see.
We finished the hike in 7 hours and 25 minutes (not counting the hour break at the cafe). Overall very fun hike even though we started to question ourselves of why we're doing this…
This was our first hike of the six. Let's see how the others will treat us…
