While driving to the trailhead, I saw a bear meandering through the neighborhood! Luckily, we didn’t run into one on the trail 🐻 Highly recommend starting early, and allowing time for the Cosmic Cafe and the observatory at the summit. Saw a few snakes on the way back down.

The hike took a bit longer than I anticipated, and I’m grateful to my group for sticking with me! Getting this peak was such a bucket list accomplishment!!
