On a sunny July Thursday I found myself with a day off. Logically, I hit the trails to take on my first hard hike in months. I got on trail just before 7am and I had been warned by others online that it would be hot, it definitely was. On trail I found several rest stops and was satisfied with the steady 7 mile uphill climb. I found water fountains at the summit to refill bottles at but from experience I’ll stick to my own product. The hike down on the same route was quick and lonely because I saw only two people the whole way back. I made it back to my car which was unharmed on the street.
