Got started at 7:30 am – no one on trail until it connected with Lake Powys trail. Very nice cool temp. Gray with a tiny drizzle, perfect conditions. Bugs were annoying and we all inhaled a few each. 2 out of the 5 of us had appointments and so we kept about a -22.5 minute pace up with a little faster on the way down. Chip was normally crowded but the other views were great. Great one do the first of the pack, but wish I had more time to take it a little easier.
