Perfect Day for a hike to the East Peak of Mt. Tamalpais. Took the Muir Woods entrance gate up the Fern Creek then up the Canopy Trail, eventualy connecting back to the Fern Creek trail, to the Plank Walk.
Perfect temperatures and nice cool stream crossings all the way up. Enjoyed a nice lunch propped against the rocks overlooking the entirety of the bay.
Nice leisurely strole down the Railroad Grade fire road. Keep a sharp ear out for bikes. Really enjoyed West point then continued down the Stagecoach fire road.
Missed our turn down bootjack as we were in some deep conversation and had to circle back to it. Bootjack drops quickly and you plunge back in to the redwoods and ferns, as you follow the creeks rushing in to eachother forming the Fern Creek.
