A perfect day for a birthday hike with dear friends of two … the area was burned by Cedar Fire years ago … pleased to see new sprouts of pine trees everywhere … pines were huge especially coming from young trees! Disappointed that we couldn't locate the wooden sign to pose with for our peak challenge picture. Did Azalea Glen Loop – approx 10 miles. All in all it was wonderful.
