My friend flew down from Northern California for the Taylor Swift concert and her one request was to hike Cucamunga Peak before the concert! Challenge accepted! We started at 5:30am with headlamps for the first 2 miles. We reached the peak by 9am. It was gorgeous weather the whole way! Absolutely no biting bugs. We had fun taking photos at the top with our Taylor Swift sign and Cucamunga Peak sign, ate a snack, then took off down the mountain cause we had a concert to get to! We saw a beautiful California Mountain Kingsnake on the way down, and lots of flowing water. Great way to spend a Tuesday morning.
