This Was my first peak in the chellenge. I chosed the loop trail. I left the parking lot at 6 in the morning, I finished before noon. There was only shade in the early hours. Luckily I got a mild morning from the desert heat.
The lower part of the trail was pleasant, around the top you often had to climb rocks. Great hike and easy to follow. Beautiful views at the top. I didn't meet anyone on the path.
I saw a lot of birds and I really liked the cacti in bloom. Overall I enjoyed the tour and spent a lot of time looking around, near and far. I'm not in good shape, so I'm happy with my performance.
