This was a great hike with awesome views and a couple of places to jump in the river. Very secluded, which I like. We started around sunrise and it took us 10 hours. We stopped a few times to rest, eat, and enjoy the views. There was plenty of poison oak to watch out for, as well as mosquitos, ticks, and flies. Once you get over all that, it was a great hike. Very challenging inclines. Alltrails said it would be 14.2 miles, but we ended up doing 17.2 miles. Not sure if we went a different route, or Alltrails was inaccurate. Either way, be prepared.
