This was my redemption hike.  After summiting Mt. Wilson a couple weeks ago and struggled, I planned my next adventure to be a little bit less intense.  This hike suited me well.

I started my hike around 6:30am.  The weather was a pleasant surprise – in the low 60s.  So began my trek up.  This trail was definitely less traveled than my last hike, but I did see a few people.  The last 1/4 mile or so was definitely the most brutal (I did acquire some scrapes and ended up falling coming down) but my pride would not let me give up that easily.  I made it to the top and the view was spectacular!  I ate a bit, rested, and enjoyed the company of a few fellow hikers before heading down.  The trek down was pretty enjoyable once I made it off the hill.  I stopped at the candy store (yes Google, it's open!) once I finished and enjoyed the AC for a couple minutes before making my way back to my car around 12:30/1pm.
