Great hike in cool weather. Just in time before the storm. Got to the trail head at 6:35 and saw almost no one the entire way up. No wait at “Potato Chip Rock”. Went in search of the geo marker and there was no ladder to climb the boulder where it is located. Found a great spot to snack over looking Ramona Grasslands and the sun peaking through the clouds made for spectacular views. On the way town the trail became heavily trafficked with people heading up around 9:30. At 11 am we were in our car driving away, tired but happy!
