Parking is free on the street near trailhead. Tough hike today. It just climbs pretty much the whole way. Trail was in good condition. Parts of the trail has a lot of rocks, giant steps, and boulders. A lot of tree cover for shade. It rained and hailed on us during the hike. Made it to the top and ate lunch at the tables near Cosmic Cafe. Cosmic Cafe was closed. Took group photo with the Mount Wilson sign that was located at Echo Rock, near the observatory. This is about a half mile further from where All Trails shows the peak. Pretty steep going down and tough on the knees. Great views! This was the first of our 6-pack challenge.
