Perfect day for hiking Mount Kimball. Reached the trailhead at 730am, parking lot was already full. Overflow parked on the street. Temperature was a cool 55 degrees at the start and 77 degrees at the finish, sunny throughout. Many hikers on the trail including several small groups. Noted many trail improvements since my last hike here. Much easier to stay on the trail, never got side-tracked. Spectacular views all the way up and down. Reached the summit in 3 hours 4 minutes; out and back in 5 hours 39 which was about 45 minutes quicker than my last attempt in January.
