This one was a far drive for me so it started early. There was so much fog that the parking was difficult to find. It was a small dirt parking lot right off the road and is across the road from the trailhead. Another note (and i believe that fire damage has alot do to with this), except for at the trailhead, there are no signs at all on this hike as of 3/30/22. It is fairly straightforward once you get to the fire road but there was some confusion about which peak was the summit etc. Not a deal breaker by any means but just something to be aware of.

A great hike all in all, it starts with some redwood switchbacks which are probably the most technical part of the hike. There was a pretty steep single track leading up to the beginning of the fire road which i took a picture of. The rest of the hike is fire road and i chose to hike the north peak (it looked like the highest).
