The trail was pretty rocky, but there were some smooth areas. Sometimes the trail got really narrow, so be careful whatever pace you are walking at. What was nice is that the way up was mostly incline as opposed to up-and-down, which meant we were able to pick up pace coming down. My toes were in so much pain, though, because of the decline all the way back, so make sure your hiking shoes can help protect you from that. Temperature was a moderate 80 or so with good cloud and tree coverage most of the way. We did get pretty sunburnt, though, so take precautions there.
