This was my 6th summit, and the fall weather made it a nice change. The trail was frozen in places and had freezing fog that iced over the trees on the top. While we didn’t get a view, we still enjoyed the trail. With most of the forest burned, the fog and intermittent snow fall made this a nice day to do it. If done in full sun, I can imagine this trail would be less pleasant as there’s no cover. Just be careful on the way back. We lost the trail briefly the last half mile because it’s easy to miss the turn off. With a little backtracking though, we made it.
