STEEP START to a wonderful hike. Chaparral, oak woodland, a little mixed conifer on top…pretty cool! Not a cloud in the amazingly blue sky. Maybe 42°-48°F along the way. Most of the “trail” is a rutted jeep track. Snow and ICE intermittently, mostly in the shade. 50(?)mph winds on top. IDK but it was wild!
