At this time of the year, it was a perfect day to hike with the cool weather and breezy mountain top (very cold). Halfway through the hike, some frosted leaves were lined up along the trail with the very low temp.
Another win for me 😁 with just a handful of cars in the parking lot meaning less hikers. This is also a great time to reflect, not just how much i’d eaten during thanksgiving 😂😂 but also what occurs during this year with life and all.
Did a decent time completing it as well. The best part of it all, someone was nice enough to have the sign down the boulder, probably not providing an accurate location of the elevation but at least giving other people, that can’t climb the top, the opportunity to have a picture with the sign, still thanksgiving after all. I climbed last year but not so thrilled about it, especially climbing back down when the knees started to shake.
