We started at 7am and were back down around 1pm. We were the first and only ones on the trail when we started, but started seeing people as we made our decent. The last 0.5 miles or so was pure incline, but it was so worth it once we hit the summit! Absolutely beautiful views at the top. It was overcast so we weren’t able to see Catalina, but it started clearing up and warming up a bit on the decent. The bugs sucked on the way down! I seemed to be the only one being attacked by then, not my friends! Overall, wonderful hike and the first of our 6 peaks! Happy hiking everyone!
