Even if most of the trail was covered with packed snow, it was still icy and slippery. Micro spikes and trekking poles will definitely help to make this hike safer this time of year. Warm clothing is a must as well. It was freezing cold and windy most of the hike. And, no rewarding views to enjoy at the top. There’s so much fog even visibility along the trail is limited to a few hundred meters.
