Started at around 8:15. The weather was already sunny and clear as we started. For the climb, the trail is very steep for the first mile, then moderate grade and shaded along the middle portion and very steep for the last 1.5 miles to the top.  Saw a couple of rattlesnakes.  One was sitting right next to the trail and the other was just finishing crossing the trail.  Temp was about mid-eighties at the top.  Well maintained trail. Great views of Silicon Valley and towards Mt Tam and Mt Diablo on the descent. Can't see them trying to struggle up the ascent.  The reward views are definitely going downhill. Just watch out for the rattlesnakes.  It took us about 4 hours 20 min.
