Well, it was one small blooper that was so blatant. As the trail, going to Hot Springs, became a T-intersection, I should've gone right where it said Lookout. Why left? Because it said Hot Springs Mountain. Technically, it went left and right. But, upon taking a left, there was a red Wrong Way sign. Yeah, it pushed me back. When the trail had a downward slope, I knew it was time to turnaround. But, I wasn't ready to throw in the towel. I remember a mess up like this at Corte Madera, and this time I was better equipped. There was a fee to enter this park. I was not going to make it a multiple visits. I returned to the two signs and continued straight ahead. I reached the top! Unfortunately, the summit had a ladder vs ropes to use in order to reach it. I couldn't. I was too beat, but I found it and before returning, I took a selfie in front of the Lookout Tower as a consolation. I loved the trails, the sound of birds singing, and the anthropomorphic looking tree branches. Even though there was fog still hanging all day, the views were still great.
